The Aronia is how healthy?

PURONIAshotThere is a new buzz growing, even though nothing new has been created.  It’s the aronia berry, a purple berry that looks quite similar to a blueberry.  The Aronia berry is native to our Midwest and eastern coastlines, and was used by the Native Americans for its medicinal uses.  As settlers came in, they took out the bushes and the name “chokeberry” came into use due to the astringent taste.

Thankfully, the aronia berry story does not end there.  Our understanding of antioxidants has grown tremendously as has our desire to be well and treat our bodies correctly.
